NOTE TO CUSTOMERS IN COLD ENVIRONMENTS:If you know your local weather is going to be below 10F temperatures or colder for extended periods of time. Do not order our eggs! We will not warranty their fertility when they’re stuck on a trailer because of shipping delays. You don’t order eggs during those seasons unless YOU are willing to take that risk on your own. We would not recommend it, and we definitely are not going to pay for it. All eggs shipped are the same eggs we hatch daily here at our hatchery.All packages are insured through the postal service.We do not guarantee hatch rates after shipping.Please leave feedback once eggs arrive safely based on your own experience.We do not accept returns on live egg packages for obvious reasons. NOTE to buyers (PLEASE READ!!!)We are a farm based business. We own thousands of birds. There are massive risks with ordering eggs online, because of many factors most people refuse to consider.Temperature extremes. Ideally eggs should be stored at 45 degrees to wait for hatching. On the back of big truck trailer, these eggs are rarely in that environement and thisaffects their hatching ability. Second, the vibration. Eggs should be stored at the proper temperature and be stationary with the large end of the egg facing up. This is alsonot possible to achieve in a shipping box. Third, is time. Eggs should ideally only sit for about 24 hours at the proper temperature and in a stationary position before goinginto an incubator. The minimum shipping time most of the time before delivery is 3 to 4 days. Time is a degrading factory in egg development. Just because you see an eggwith no development inside of it, does not mean it was not fertile. Fertility is highly affected by the conditions of transit from our farm to your location. Taking all of these facts into consideration, we cannot guarantee any of the hatch rates you may be capable of producing. And we haven’t even talked about your incubator and your ownincubating methods. We do not recommend putting the eggs under a live bird and gambling with nature. Those statistics are even worse. If you decide to purchase oureggs and you do not understand how mail order eggs work and the statistics on hatch rates of mail order eggs, do not contact us complaining you hatched 2 of 6 chicks. Thoseare normal statistics for mail order eggs! Sometimes you hit the lottery and hatch great, and sometimes you don’t. We don’t pick and choose who does and who does not.This is all luck of the draw and common for mail order eggs. If you contact us with a zero hatch rate, we will do something about it. BUT, you will be required to send photosof candled eggs so we can see the same thing you see. No one cheats us, otherwise everyone else would too.
